Back again--amazing, isn't it? I just wanted to thank you for the favorite on Eyecatch II an the comment on Hate Flesh I (I love how much and how accurately you read into the meaning of this image ... and I'm not thin, I just have a small waist, but I would agree that the dramatic irony is still quite nice in the picture). I appreciate your feedback as always, and wish you the best of luck on your work.

Sure you don't want an icon?

Stopping by to thank you for the review on When It Ends and basically for the support on the Hallowed series overall. I would agree with you that there are a few faults--repeditiveness, and the style change--but other than that I was very happy with how it turned out (after two years of work, I certainly hope I would be). Nonetheless, the opinion of the reader is always the deciding factor, so knowing that people like you enjoyed the series means that the time I spent writing it was worthwhile.

As for where I came up with the idea... The Hallowed was a result of my fascination with religion. I am an atheist, and very happy one, but religion, both the facts of it and the effect it's had on mankind, amazes me. I afraid can't give you a quick, pretty story about what inspired the piece--I don't know if there was any concrete inspiration really--with one exception: if God were all-good, omniscient, and omnipotent, then there would be no room for evil in the universe because his nature would contradict it, he would know it existed, and he would be able to fix it all. So, I thought, what if he were not all-good, not all-knowing, not all-powerful ... and the story arose from there.

Anyway.

Thank you so very much for the feedback, and I'm very glad you liked it. Hope to hear more from you in the future.

And why no new submissions from you?

Thanks much for the favorite and comment on Quiver. I'm glad you liked it and very thankful that you took the time to let me know.

Randomly...

Would you be interested in an avatar? I would be happy to make one for you if you are. Just let me know what you want it to look like, anything from a starting point to exact instructions, and I'll see what I can do for you.

Thanks again; best of luck on your work.

I just wanted to stop by and thank you for the wonderful set of comments and the deviant watch. What can I say? I am very, truly flattered. Thank you for taking the time, I'm so happy that you liked my work, and of course I will continue to write--I only hope you like my future work as much.

Thank you again, and best of luck on your writing and art.
